St. Agustin

Villa Libertad

Price: On request

Bedrooms : 7
Bathrooms : 6
Plot Size : 10.000 m2
Build Size : 500 m2

This well kept, renovated, luxurious 500 sqm villa is quietly perched on the hills by St Augustin with spectacular views onto the Mediterranean and its breathtaking sunsets. The property is extremely private and set in a quiet, totally peaceful area, that is also easily accessible.

The very private owners have owned the property for 30 years, and although it has a full tourist licence for 6 bedrooms they have very rarely rented it out, as it has become their true second home from home, and it has been maintained meticulously throughout their tenure.

MAIN HOUSE

The villa has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, a guest WC and can accommodate up to 14 people. The main house itself has two bedrooms (one double and the other twin) with bathrooms ensuite on the ground floor, a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

On the first floor are three bedrooms, with an incredible master bedroom with a dressing room and a large bathroom, all with incredible views. There is a further double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a twin bedroom with ensuite, and all have their own individual terraces.

The owners have created a very subtle mix throughout of traditional charm, and quality, with a modern touch.

Air conditioning is also in all rooms, together with satellite TV and Wi Fi, and safety deposit boxes.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Set within 10000 sqm of land, the gated entrance opens up onto a wooded circular driveway, with several terraces and shady porches around the house and poolside as well as an outside shower and WC.

To the left as guests enter there is an annex studio with a single bedroom and bathroom for service, or potentially to be used as a homeschooling class, art or music studio.

There is a further separate ‘pool house’ which has a beautiful independent double bedroom and ensuite bathroom.

By the large salt water pool the outside dining area has magnificent views onto the bay, and boasts a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and BBQ, with several lounge areas, and is absolutely perfect for evening sunset dining.

There is also covered parking for 4 cars.

In short, a beautiful all year round family home, or THE ‘statement’ Ibiza holiday home.

LOCATION – SOUTH WEST

Recommended Beaches: Cala Jondal, Cala Conta, Cala Vadella ,Cala Moli, Cala Bassa, Sa Caleta, Cala Tarida

The south west of Ibiza, along with it’s jaw-dropping scenic backgrounds, is glamorous, brash and exclusive, and with more stylish beach club restaurants along it’s shores than possibly the rest of the Balearic islands put together, it is idolised by big-hitting jet setters and local residents alike.

To be experienced, at least once, is the sassy and shameless Blue Marlin beach club on Cala Jondal (with it’s sister restaurant Yemanja perched daintily on the sand beside. At the other end of the spectrum is the rapidly changing San Antonio (as the Brits Abroad pubs are slowly replaced by investors snapping up and converting hotels and restaurants left right and beachfront centre).

The south west manages to somehow successfully mix this side of it’s personality with the ultra exclusive and uber-cool international residents tucked away in the hills of Es Cubells, and Puig Redo, and hidden behind the security barriers of the gated community Vista Alegre.

The focal point of the south west and an absolute must-see is the mythical and magical volcanic outcrop Es Vedra, so seemingly close that you could almost touch it from the shingled shores of Cala d’Hort. There are many urban myths that surround it, such as it being the third most magnetic place on the planet after the North and South Poles, and there is no better place to contemplate these myths than from a table at Es Boldado, the superb fish restaurant built into the rocks across the bay.

The main town, and gateway to the south west is San Jose, a busy bustling town which hosts various rock and jazz festivals throughout the year and is also no more than a quarter of an hour away from the incredibly popular beaches such as Cala Vadella, Cala Tarida, Cala Bassa and Cala Conta (with one of the longest standing beach restaurants, Sunset Ashram perched above). San Jose and her surrounding areas are constantly in demand with property seekers due to the close proximity of all the beaches in the area, as well as the closeness to the airport and Ibiza Town. Consequently the exclusive villas in the south west are the most requested by high net worth holiday-goers in the summer months.
